Express Pass is used at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure to reduce wait times at the most popular rides.
You use the entry ticket in an ATM-like machine. It will give you a time to return to the ride. When you return you bypass the long line and typically wait only a few minutes.
Please note Express Passes are purchased separately from Universal Studios and are on top of the entry price.
