Universal Express Pass

Universal Express allows you to save time standing in line at some of the most popular rides and attractions.

Go to the Universal Express Pass distribution point at the ride you want to go on. use your entry ticket to obtain a Universal Express Pass.

Put your ticket into the Universal Express Pass machine
You will receive a slip of paper giving you a time to return to the ride. When you return you will join a separate (and much shorter line) Each member of your party needs to get a Universal Express pass with their entry ticket

With Universal Express you don't need to stand in line for hours - just get your pass and go off and enjoy something else, visit a less popular attraction, have a bite to eat or just find a shady spot to relax. When you return to the ride your wait time will be 10 - 15 minutes or less.

You may only obtain one Universal Express Pass at a time. As soon as you have used it (or the time slot has passed) you can get another one.

You can also get an Express Pass for shows , such as The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad at Islands of Adventure. The pass in this case would give you priority seating.

Universal Express is not available on every attraction. The distribution points may close before the end of the day if all the time slots have already been allocated. (At very busy times this can be as early as lunch time)

More about Universal Studios tickets

Please note Universal Studios have something called Express Plus. This ticket takes you to the head of the line and no waiting. These tickets are only available from Universal Studios and are in addition to your entry ticket. Prices vary seasonally. (And can be VERY expensive at popular times, such as holidays)
